Fun Program For Parents And Kids 18 - 39 Months

SRFC Soccer KickSTARters is a fun parent/child soccer learning program for toddlers and pre-k children ages 18 months to 39 months. It's an introduction to soccer that emphasizes gross motor skills, listening skills, basic soccer ball skills, and a sportsmanship curriculum. Parents/Guardians are required to be on the field each week and participate in the class with their child.


The word S.T.A.R. is an acronym that represents important qualities for soccer and life that will be emphasized by the program curriculum: Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Attitude, Respect.


The weekly classes will be led by the club's Youth Development Director, Dragan Hinic. When possible, children will be grouped by age for each weekly class. Group One will be 18-24 months and Group Two will be 25-39 months.

Meet Coach Dragan Hinic

KickSTARter classes are led by Coach Dragan Hinic, San Ramon FC's Youth Development Director.  


Coach Dragan has  Physical Education (PE) teaching credentials. 


He has a degree in Health and Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Education. Dragan has also completed many hours of coursework and coaching curriculum and received multiple coaching licenses from both the US Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches Association.


He brings his talents and expertise to the KickSTARter classes to help your kids have fun, build confidence, and learn through play. 

Answers To Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some commonly asked questions.  

  • Classes are held weekly on same day of the week and same time of the day.
  • Each class is 45 minutes long.
  • Class t-shirts are provided to players and guardians and need to be worn to class.
  • For each class, wear the class t-shirt, wear shoes or cleats (no sandals please), and bring water to drink.
  • A parent or guardian must participate in the class with the player.  It is mandatory.
